Senior Real Estate Video Storyteller

As a seasoned real estate video editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual narratives that showcase properties in the most appealing way. Your primary objective will be to edit real estate video presentations using Final Cut Pro, combining ground footage, drone shots, and music to highlight property features with a cinematic edge.
Responsibilities will include structuring video narratives that match the aesthetic expectations of modern real estate buyers and align with brand guidelines and listing goals. Additionally, you will need to complete one full video within a shift and deliver a second video from that batch the next day. Ideally, you should be able to edit a high-quality real estate video within 4-5 hours, depending on complexity, with the expectation of two per day when needed.
Collaborative revisions and content optimization are also essential aspects of this role. You will work closely with producers and clients to implement feedback quickly and accurately, especially for high-stakes listings or brand-driven content. Exporting and optimizing videos for MLS platforms, YouTube, and Instagram is also crucial. You must stay up-to-date with current high-quality real estate video trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Final Cut Pro Expertise: A minimum of 5.5+ years of advanced editing experience with Final Cut Pro X, including multi-cam workflows, transitions, stabilization, and color grading. Experience using advanced FCPX plugins and tools such as Motion VFX and Ryan Nagle's packages (access provided).
- Real Estate Industry Experience: Proven experience editing videos for real estate listings, including familiarity with drone integration and walkthrough formats. Experience exporting and optimizing video content specifically for Instagram, YouTube, and MLS platforms.
- Visual Eye for Property Marketing: A strong design and composition sense, especially in showcasing architectural features, interior lighting, and exterior landscaping.
- Fast & Reliable Workflow: Ability to manage high-volume content with fast turnaround while maintaining consistent visual and brand quality.
- Client-Facing Communication Skills: Comfortable receiving and executing on client feedback, with strong written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
- Technical Requirements: Access to a fast Mac editing setup (remote access possible) and a fast, reliable internet connection to support remote editing workflows.
This is a mid-senior level full-time position within the marketing and advertising industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent final cut pro skills, real estate industry experience, and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
