We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for accounting professionals transitioning into the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle management industry.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement RCM training programs tailored for professionals with an accounting background, focusing on compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct live and virtual training sessions covering medical billing, coding, claims processing, accounts receivable management, and HIPAA regulations.
- Develop comprehensive training materials, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance learning outcomes and improve revenue cycle performance.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and RCM software for hands-on training and real-world application.
- Teach insurance claims processing, denials management, payment posting, and AR follow-up procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Instruct on ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding basics and their integration into RCM workflows, emphasizing best practices and industry standards.
- Explain Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement policies for the U.S. market, highlighting key differences and nuances.
- Guide learners in RCM performance metrics, such as Net Collection Rate, AR Days, and First-Pass Resolution, to optimize revenue cycle processes.
- Assist trainees in preparing for industry certifications, such as CRCR, CPB, CMRS, and CHFP, providing personalized coaching and guidance.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and career guidance for job placement in revenue cycle roles, focusing on professional development and growth.
- Conduct mock audits, real-world case studies, and practice claim submissions to prepare learners for real-world challenges.
- Ensure training covers HIPAA, compliance laws, fraud prevention, and best practices, emphasizing the importance of regulatory adherence.
- Stay updated with CMS regulations, payer policy changes, and RCM industry trends, incorporating the latest information into training programs.
- Recommend workflow optimizations for reducing claim denials and improving cash flow, leveraging data-driven insights and industry expertise.
