Key Insurance Operations Manager Role

This position is responsible for overseeing backend processes, ensuring timely client communication, and streamlining operational workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication & Application Tracking
    • Guide clients through the insurance process, ensuring regular updates and reminders.
    • Monitor client applications from submission to policy activation, providing weekly check-ins on application status.
    • Manage the support inbox, addressing inquiries promptly, and coordinating with the back office for seamless application flow.
  • Lead Intake & CRM Management
    • Input and update client data into the CRM, maintaining accurate records of personal and medical information.
    • Track lead status, logging interactions, updates, and milestones in the CRM or internal tracking systems.
  • Relationship Building & Communication
    • Establish trust with clients, underwriters, and team members through empathetic communication.
    • Handle follow-ups with warmth and consistency, ensuring clients feel cared for and informed.
  • Operational Support & Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement, resolving operational inefficiencies proactively.
    • Answer incoming calls, gather relevant information, and manage delegated email tasks, responding to items forwarded by management.
Requirements:

  • Strong language and proofreading skills, with professional communication.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on streamlining processes.
  • Insurance industry familiarity, with understanding of life insurance processes and terminology.
