Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation and submission of VAT returns, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns for clients.
  • Assist in VAT registration and deregistration processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for client VAT accounts.
  • Assist in preparing VAT refund and penalty reconsideration applications.
  • Review client documentation to ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Respond to client queries under the guidance of senior tax staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest VAT rules and practices in the UAE.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Tax, Financial Accounting and Compliance matters is required.
  • Experience in financial advisory and other related financial services and products is essential.
  • Ability to comply with tax laws and obligations and set standards of performance is necessary.
  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional certification in accounting such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in UAE VAT or tax-related roles is required.
