Accounting Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting and finance, with experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payment processing and accounts payable tasks, including monitoring invoices, obtaining approvals, and managing payments. They will also assist with financial reporting, including preparing and posting journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and importing Property TB activity into Yardi.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting support
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; Yardi and Yardi Investment Accounting is a strong plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Essential Functions:

  1. Purchase Order Management
  • Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely payments
  • Process vendor invoices and obtain approvals
  • Maintain and update wire templates and payment instructions
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Import Property TB activity into Yardi
Expense Management
  • Review employee expense reports and credit card reconciliations

Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
