Accounting Specialist Opportunity

The role of an Accounting Specialist at our organization involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting operations. We are looking for a skilled professional who is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about assisting businesses in managing their finances effectively.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and categorize transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies
  • Create and maintain comprehensive financial spreadsheets and reports to help with decision-making
  • Generate invoices for clients and manage accounts receivable/payable efficiently
  • Organize receipts and financial documents securely
  • Assist with payroll and expense tracking to ensure timely payments and compliance with regulations
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as email management, calendar scheduling, and data entry
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or Bookkeeper with a focus on financial record-keeping
  • Proficient in accounting software and Excel or Google Sheets
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
