Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor communications, and ensuring timely and accurate payments.

  • Process invoices and credit memos accurately and on time
  • Communicate with vendors, service centers, and procurement teams effectively
  • Manage the accounts payable shared inbox, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintain invoice workflow systems, ensuring queues are clear and current
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and variances outside of tolerances
  • Reconcile vendor statements and provide financial reports for review
  • Identify process improvements and implement automation opportunities proactively
  • Collaborate closely with the finance team and support junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably with some exposure to coordinating or supporting junior staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and familiarity with accounts payable systems like TrinDocs is a bonus
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
  • Experience in a multi-client or high-volume environment is a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement
