Private Equity Fund Accounting Specialist

We seek a skilled Private Equity Fund Accountant to provide high-quality accounting services to private equity fund clients. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing transaction preparation and processing for private equity fund clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of transactions, from preparation to settlement, to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Provide exceptional client service by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries and addressing specific report and data analysis requests.
  • Review complex calculations for fees, including management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfall structures.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Support year-end audits by assisting clients in responding to external auditors' inquiries.
  • Aid in onboarding new funds and launching existing ones by defining customized service models.
  • Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a focus on Accounting.
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification highly valued.
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity, or a mix of audit/fund administration and private equity experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with various accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
