Job Summary

As a Student Trainee, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and finance. This position offers an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical work environment and develop essential skills for a future career in the financial industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Support financial analysis and cash flow analysis projects
  • Learn and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Gain exposure to technical accounting tasks
  • Assist with double entry bookkeeping processes
  • Participate in corporate accounting activities
  • Contribute to balance sheet reconciliation tasks
  • Explore financial concepts related to private equity

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong interest in financial analysis and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Knowledge or exposure to corporate accounting practices is beneficial

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday
