Financial Operations Specialist

This is a remote position, with the possibility to work from home or office.

  • Job Summary:
  • Manage financial operations across multiple entities, starting with the Australian division and expanding to European operations.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for process accounts payable invoices and payments, handle accounts receivable sales entries and statements, download and prepare financial reports from various systems, perform data entry and maintain records in accounting systems, process transactions in Dext and Xero for Australian operations, learn and operate Exact and Facecode systems for European operations, generate and distribute financial statements, maintain accurate financial records across entities, execute Excel functions like vlookup for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and payments
  • Handle accounts receivable sales entries and statements
  • Download and prepare financial reports from various systems
  • Perform data entry and maintain records in accounting systems
  • Process transactions in Dext and Xero for Australian operations
  • Learn and operate Exact and Facecode systems for European operations
  • Generate and distribute financial statements
  • Maintain accurate financial records across entities
  • Execute Excel functions like vlookup for analysis

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Dext and Xero
  • Strong Excel skills, especially vlookup
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Quick learner of new accounting systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Professional English communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Basic accounting knowledge

Scope:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Initial focus on Australian operations
  • Potential expansion to European operations
