About The Job
  • The IT Project Controller will work closely with Project Managers to define project goals, objectives, and financial targets.
  • This role requires identifying and maintaining project schedules and budgets, ensuring that projects operate within set financial constraints.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs relative to timelines and milestones, as well as providing recovery plans in cases of budget or schedule deviations.
  • This position also involves coordinating with hardware, software, and commissioning teams for milestone tracking, generating management reports and profitability analyses, and recommending actions to improve project progress and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define project goals and objectives in collaboration with Project Managers.
  2. Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
  3. Monitor and control project costs, providing recovery plans as needed.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for milestone tracking and reporting.
  5. Generate management reports and profitability analyses to inform project decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project controlling, cost control, or project accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and consolidate information from multiple sources.
