Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven system administrator to manage our company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administration, including cloud infrastructure management, process automation, site reliability engineering, and the ability to optimize IT performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a cloud system administrator with knowledge of multi-cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Maintain and monitor networks and servers, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Create and automate alerting and monitoring systems for efficient log management.
  • Develop tools to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot Support Escalation requests efficiently.
  • Upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software to meet business objectives.
  • Implement robust security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
  • Manage user accounts and access control for secure data protection.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Document processes and ensure data backup and archival procedures.
  • Develop data retrieval and recovery procedures for business continuity.
  • Design and implement efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
  • Supervise and mentor IT department employees, providing expert IT support.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements and best practices in IT administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
