Overview

A property administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential and/or commercial properties.

This role requires a high level of organization, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to ensure tenant satisfaction, rent collection, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of assigned properties to maintain compliance with regulations and ensure proper upkeep.
  • Oversee rent collection, enforce lease terms, and follow up with tenants on late payments using Rent Manager software.
  • Process accounts payable/receivable and generate financial reports through Rent Manager.
  • Market vacant units, screen potential tenants, and manage lease agreements.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and vendor management.
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to company policies and local laws.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a property administrator or assistant property manager.
  • Strong proficiency in Rent Manager software.
  • Knowledge of property operations, leasing, and tenant relations.
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills.
