Business Development Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development leader to join our team. As Manager of Business Development, Global, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our Business Development team while recruiting and developing talent to drive aggressive growth goals.

  • Lead a high-performing team of hybrid BDRs to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets for Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Expand the Business Development Reps using our foundational Business Development team plan.
  • Support Business Development Reps through on-boarding, ramp up and on-going coaching and development to ensure consistent attainment of goals across the team.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of our technology stack to support the BDR team with lead follow-up and proactive outreach.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to increase conversion rates across the board to create more pipeline.
  • Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment and HR teams and become a valued member of our Leadership Team.
  • Attend weekly Sales Team meetings to maintain alignment with the Field Sales team.
  • Consistently monitor the team's performance against key KPIs and drive the team forward to exceed expectations.
  • Vocalize suggestions to facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure the on-going evolution of the team.
  • Occasional travel and representing the company at events is required.

  • Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
  • Ability to accurately report metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of information security concepts and the industry landscape.
  • Ability and experience in providing regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics on key activity.
  • Proven capability of developing talent that progresses through the business.
