Job Title: AU Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. in Sto. Domingo, Angeles City.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Australian accounting, taxation, and bookkeeping, with expertise in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online (QBO). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, preparing and lodging BAS and IAS, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process supplier invoices, customer invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations using MYOB, Xero, or QBO.
  • Process payroll, including superannuation, leave accruals, and PAYG reporting.
  • Assist in preparing and lodging BAS and IAS in compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Generate and maintain accurate financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in MYOB, Xero, or QBO.
  • Ensure proper GST recording and reporting for all transactions.
  • Assist with end-of-month and year-end close, including journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
  • Liaise with external accountants for tax preparation and audits as required.
  • Manage client inquiries related to financial matters, invoicing, and payroll.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with specific experience in handling Australian accounts.
  • Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Solid understanding of Australian taxation, including BAS, IAS, GST, PAYG, and Superannuation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Experience in managing payroll and superannuation compliance.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other bookkeeping-related software.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive financial information.
