Database Architect Lead

This role is responsible for leading the design and implementation of database systems and architectures, focusing on MS SQL.

To excel in this position, you will need to have a solid understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new database systems and architectures, with a focus on MS SQL.
  • Develop and maintain database standards and best practices.
  • Optimize database performance and resolve performance-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain database security and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  • Perform database backup and recovery operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduated from a Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Experience with Azure cloud database services.
  • Experience with NoSQL a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
