You will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to create a world with less repetitive work and more innovative decisions as a Technology Sales Specialist.

Your Expert Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Data Platform Database Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive business growth and maintain client relationships while highlighting the value of technology solutions.

  • Sales Leadership: Drive business expansion by prospecting and progressing deals in your territory.
  • Maintain Client Relationships and Showcase Tech Value: Nurture client relationships while highlighting the value of tech solutions.
  • Coaching Brand Sales Specialists: Deliver content sessions and workshops to enhance the team's knowledge and performance in database technologies.
  • Utilize Solution-Selling Skills: Engage with decision-makers, assess and qualify opportunities, and establish enduring partnerships.
  • Oversee the Full Sales Process: Lead the team to take charge of the entire sales process, from handling RFI/RFP responses to meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and strategic direction for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of database technologies.
  • Documentation and Review: Develop, review, and approve proposal documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to address customer needs and issues, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Required Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in various database technologies, including Watsonx.data, DB2, Informix, Netezza. Additionally, the product set includes Filenet, Capture, and CMOD.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Governance and running a successful territory or business. In-depth knowledge of database architecture, design, and implementation is essential.

Key Requirements

A mid-senior level professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and proficiency in project management and documentation.

Location and Coverage

You must reside in the Southeast region and be responsible for covering the National market.
