Database Expert Wanted

We're seeking a highly skilled database expert to join our dynamic team in the healthcare industry.

This role will involve analyzing and developing SSIS projects for ETL, transmission, encryption, and archiving of files received and generated.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in tuning and improving SQL database performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining database tables, stored procedures, and supporting objects
  • Building and supporting operational reports for the company and clients
  • Collaborating with the data team to provide operational support and resolve recurring problems
  • Documenting database topology, architecture, processes, and procedures
  • Developing SQL queries and supporting ad hoc requests for data
  • Assisting with capacity planning and resource expansion through data aggregation and analysis

Requirements include:

  • Four-year degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Minimum five years working as a Database engineer or a related role
  • Minimum three years SSIS experience
  • Minimum two years' experience with C# and/or VB.NET
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 or later
  • Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server internals with emphasis on query performance
