Customer Operations Manager Position Overview

This role involves supporting retail operations by leading a team responsible for order to cash cycle management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EDI, B2B, and manual orders as well as strong ERP system experience.

The selected individual will be responsible for building sustainable processes and systems from scratch focusing on efficiency and scalability. They will also write and manage collection of order operations SOP's that are specific to different sales channels and customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day execution and management of order to cash cycle- Order entry, accuracy, and execution from order receipt through customer delivery all the way through invoicing and payment collection.
  • Provide customer support for pre-order activities - including systemic setup, writing customer-specific SOP's, and ensuring customer orders are ready to process.
  • Build sustainable processes and systems from scratch, focusing on efficiency and scalability as we onboard with new Commercial customers and build out our Customer Operations team.
  • Maintain strong data integrity in all order operations systems associated with order entry, order fulfillment, order management, and order invoicing.
  • Lead month's end reconciliation from the Order Operations perspective and provide fully vetted reporting to Accounting showing all orders for the previous month are accurately entered in all of our systems and tie out.
Requirements:
  • Able to work full time US-based hours.
  • Expertise in automations using Zapier, Make, N8N etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a customer-facing role.
  • Elite organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to details.
  • Extremely process-oriented with ability to identify and define issues, create scalable processes, and implement those processes with team members both in and out of the department.
  • Order Processing experience including EDI, B2B, and manual orders. Strong ERP system experience.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment under minimal supervision.
