Project Portfolio Financial Management Specialist

As a highly skilled and experienced professional, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our project business in the assigned scope.

Reporting to the Business Finance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage and drive financial performance of a project portfolio as part of the wider project execution team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validation of project setup in line with requirements;
  • Reforecasting projects in line with project managers' requirements;
  • Troubleshooting of inter-project time and expense transfers;

You will ensure that all projects are closed on the system in a timely manner, providing monthly project and portfolio reporting and analysis as required. Your focus will also be on tracking and monitoring core financial and non-financial project elements, analyzing trends and deviations in performance, and comparing planned objectives against actual delivery.

You will partner with local, regional, and global teams to provide financial support in terms of data stewardship, metrics, analysis, reporting, and compliance. Additionally, you will prepare files or reports needed and attend project review meetings, handling and troubleshooting complex project-related and invoicing tasks.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or equivalent;
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Exposure in shared service or multinational environment is an advantage;

Advanced knowledge and experience in ERP systems is preferred, as is advanced experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Articulate communication skills in English language are essential, as well as strong analytical, research capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
