Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of our inventory.

  • Critical thinking skills: The ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions is essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with various departments, including warehouse and operations teams.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  2. Coordinating with warehouse and operations team on cycle count schedules.
  3. Developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  4. Conducting regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  5. Investigating discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  6. Updating inventory records based on cycle count results.
  7. Analyzing inventory-related financial reports.
  8. Supporting internal/external audit requests related to inventory cycle count and cost accounting.
  9. Providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to drive business results.
  10. Collaborating with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
  11. Participating in cross-functional projects to improve inventory management processes.
