The Role:

The Bid Coordinator is responsible for supporting the estimating team by managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines. This role ensures that all bids are submitted accurately and on time.

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure that all RFPs are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the submission guidelines.
  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information.
  • Independently manage the workload calendar of assigned regions.
  • Track all customer contacts and bidding the same project for the estimator to send bids to.
Requirements:
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings preferred.
  • Proven track record of multitasking, as well as email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge.
  • Highest levels of attention to detail to produce quality documents.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Positive attitude towards customers and the team.
  • Self-starter but able to work well in a team environment.
