
Advanced Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to fill a challenging role as a Level 3 Helpdesk Engineer. This individual will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices, software applications, and company infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with experience in help desk ticket management, network setup, and escalation procedures. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues related to End User Devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, vendors, applications, and Wi-Fi.
- Resolve problems related to Company Infrastructure, such as Office 365, G Suite, Windows Server Environments, and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Follow established company procedures, including response times, escalations, communication, and documentation.
- Properly manage tickets in the help desk system, ensuring everything is clean, updated, and resolved efficiently.
- Provide proactive communication to customers, avoiding frustration and minimizing downtime during working hours.
- Configure networks during client onboarding or a la carte projects.
- Collaborate with vendor technical support teams to resolve issues or implement new solutions.
- Implement SaaS solutions as needed.
- Address infrastructure alerts and contribute to continuous process improvement within the IT department.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with a focus on Desktop Support, Systems Engineering, and Systems Administration.
- Help desk MSP experience.
- Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools, such as Datto, Kaseya, NinjaOne, Halo, ConnectWise, and Autotask.
- End User Support/Desktop Support: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktop and mobile device troubleshooting, deployment, and MDM.
- Support of Cloud products: Office 365, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure, and Google.
- Systems Administration: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Platforms (DC, FS, TS, Print, IIS) and Active Directory, Group Policy.
- Basic understanding and support of Storage and Virtualization platforms: NAS OS, Dell Equallogic, Hyper-V, and VMware.
- Understanding of networking: TCP/IP, LAN/DMZ/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN, and Firewalls.
