Junior Financial Controller Role

This position plays a vital role in organizing and managing workflows and datasets across multiple departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring information and documentation are properly structured, including designing and implementing financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Manage and maintain financial systems, datasets, and reporting frameworks to support decision-making
  • Work closely with team members to ensure procedures are followed and required data is collected on time
  • Classify and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy, order, and accessibility
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency
  2. Manage and maintain financial systems, datasets, and reporting frameworks to support decision-making
  3. Work closely with team members to ensure procedures are followed and required data is collected on time
  4. Classify and maintain documentation to ensure accuracy, order, and accessibility
  5. Support data analysis, reporting, and financial/operational modeling tasks
  6. Take ownership of routine administrative and follow-up tasks, freeing up senior team members for strategic work

Responsibilities may include supporting data analysis, reporting, and financial/operational modeling tasks, as well as taking ownership of routine administrative and follow-up tasks.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or another analytical field
  • At least 4-5 years of related work experience as a financial controller
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, and modeling)
  • Ability to build and work with financial/data models
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
