Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing Organizational Financial Strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
  • High-level financial reporting and analysis

  • Supervising and reviewing accounting practices and ensuring compliance standards
  • Improving efficiency by identifying ways to cut costs and boost profits

  • Working closely with management to share reports and analysis findings

Key Hard Skills

  • Experience with product cost, inventory, purchase orders, data analysis, costing, invoices, material/ goods, profit/non-profit analysis
  • Reviews invoices, tracks job costs, and monitors profit
  • Cost analysis for job profit monitoring (invoices vs labor)
  • Sales commissions and data organization; sales goals and statistics
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, QuickBooks
  • Ability to create Excel sheets that produce data

Job Description

Overview This is a remote position with permanent status.

About the role

As part of the Customer Care & Operations Team you will provide high-quality service to merchants before, during and after onboarding. You will assist merchants with requests regarding MW products and services, acting as a point of contact and communicating in a helpful tone. You will interact with other departments and third parties as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Log all work requests and issues from merchants promptly
  • Set up new merchant accounts and configure existing ones
  • Handle daily chargebacks and dispute processing within defined timeframes
  • Respond to merchant/partner requests within service levels
  • Provide first-level operational support via phone and email; escalate issues as required
  • Document problem resolution steps with stakeholders
  • Timely reporting and escalation to minimize disruption
  • Provide consultative service to meet objectives and maintain merchant relationships
  • Stay updated on product/service enhancements and process changes
  • Communicate product features clearly to merchants
  • Provide progress updates and manage expectations
  • Proactively engage merchant groups and improve relationships
  • Ensure data accuracy in communications and reports
  • Support onboarding activities as needed

Job Requirements

  • 2-3+ years in customer service & technical support within payments ecosystem
  • Familiarity with payments terminology and merchant acquiring processes
  • Basic knowledge of online payments/ecommerce
  • Mentor-assisted on-the-job training available
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn about payments
  • Strong time management and proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Deskpro/SharePoint is advantageous
