Renewable Energy Specialist

Solar Energy Designer is a pivotal role within our solar installation process. As a professional in this position, you will be accountable for ensuring that solar designs align with customer preferences, company standards, as well as local and national codes.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with Sales and Install Operations teams to review solar designs for compliance with customer requirements and company regulations.
- Utilize aerial imagery and web-based software to create 3D models of homes and their surroundings, generating custom proposals that showcase customers the expected panel layout and solar production of their system.
- Work in conjunction with the Proposal Design team to develop precise and compelling proposals that meet sales objectives and customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
- Experience in designing and/or constructing solar electric systems is preferred.
- A working knowledge of residential electrical and roofing standards is also beneficial.
- NABCEP certification is considered an asset.
