Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Produce detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis and present findings to operational teams.
  • Identify and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets, leading to actionable recommendations that drive improved results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reporting packages and various deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk.
  • Design and implement data infrastructure that enables the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and energy production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field or relevant coursework preferred.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in renewables, energy, or infrastructure is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
