Quality Assurance Engineer - Renewable Energy

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role will involve reviewing and verifying the quality of solar systems, ensuring they meet our high standards. You will be responsible for inspecting installations, reviewing project documents, and communicating with stakeholders to resolve any issues.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction based solar role, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively and meeting deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Review installation photos and job close-out documentation
  • Inspect solar monitoring sites, layout, and registered product
  • Provide clear and concise feedback on rejected packages
  • Resolve closeout package kickbacks for fast resubmittal turnaround times
  • Support installation best practices, customer site profile creations, and customer satisfaction

Education and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science)
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction based solar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work with and influence 3rd parties
  • Ability to climb ladders, access and work on rooftops, including in varying weather conditions
