Eviction Specialist - Washington State

This is a full-time remote opportunity to work as an Eviction Specialist in Washington State. As an Eviction Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents, managing timelines and workflows, coordinating process service, filing cases electronically or by mail, and maintaining accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare legal documents including Notices, Summons & Complaints, Declarations and exhibits, Motions for default, writs of restitution, stipulations
  • Manage legal timelines and workflows using our in-house case management system
  • Coordinate process service with third-party providers
  • File cases electronically (or by mail, where required) with courts across WA
  • Prepare and track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits
  • Collaborate with our attorney for supervision and sign-off
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant
  • Track expenses and legal billings for all cases
  • Continuously improve templates and SOPs for consistency and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Legal or paralegal education (JD or LLB degree preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing
  • Excellent written English (legal writing and email communication)
  • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, especially landlord-tenant law
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning internal software tools
  • Detail-oriented and organized under tight deadlines
