Eviction Paralegal Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Eviction Paralegal to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing legal documents, managing timelines and workflows, and coordinating with third-party providers. If you have experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing and are proficient in US legal systems, especially landlord-tenant law, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with our attorney to prepare and file legal documents, manage cases electronically or by mail, and coordinate process service. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.

A successful Eviction Paralegal will be highly organized, proactive, and efficient in their work, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including Notices, Summons & Complaints, Declarations, and exhibits
  • Manage legal timelines and workflows
  • Coordinate process service with third-party providers
  • File cases electronically or by mail with courts across WA
  • Prepare and track hearing schedules, filings, service affidavits
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal actions per property and tenant
  • Track expenses and legal billings for all cases

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Legal or paralegal education (JD or LLB degree preferred)
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation support, paralegal work, or eviction processing
  • Excellent written English (legal writing and email communication)
  • Demonstrated ability to draft pleadings and assemble court-ready documents
  • Strong familiarity with U.S. legal systems or forms, especially landlord-tenant law
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning internal software tools
  • Detail-oriented and organized under tight deadlines
