Job Overview

Digital Operations Manager

As a Digital Operations Manager, you will lead a team spanning web support, quality assurance, and design. This role involves managing delivery from end to end: ensuring client websites and digital assets are completed on time, to spec, and at the highest standard of quality.

You'll be responsible for building and refining processes, enforcing deadlines, and coaching your team so that every project runs smoothly. You'll work closely with leadership to balance workloads, improve workflows, and keep quality high while moving at the pace our clients expect.

We're looking for a manager who can blend operational discipline with people leadership — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, spots gaps before they become problems, and motivates a cross-functional team to deliver consistently strong results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Team Performance: Analyze team performance and project data to identify opportunities for improving delivery speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the SEO and Digital Marketing Director to enhance workflows, launch new initiatives, and ensure website production supports overall marketing strategy.
  • Partner with Leadership: Partner with leadership to spot risks, remove roadblocks, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Review and Refine Output: Review and refine the output of the QA, design, and web support teams to ensure error-free, on-brand client websites and digital assets.
  • Lead and Coach Team: Lead, coach, and develop your team of 10, setting clear expectations, managing workloads, and fostering accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with SEO, digital marketing, and client-facing teams to ensure client deliverables align with business needs and drive measurable results.
  • Culture Contribution: Actively contribute to Olly Olly's culture by providing regular feedback, sharing best practices, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify workflow bottlenecks and standardize processes to ensure smooth project delivery and high-quality client outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in Digital Operations: 5+ years experience in digital operations, website production, or marketing operations, overseeing delivery and quality of digital assets.
  • Team Management Experience: 2+ years managing remote, cross-functional teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with QA and website delivery, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • WordPress Proficiency: Proficiency with WordPress (themes, plugins, CMS workflows), including testing new features on both the front and back end.
  • Design and Content QA: A keen eye for design and content QA, ensuring websites are visually consistent, user-friendly, and optimized for conversions.
  • Figma Fluency: Figma fluency — ability to read and assess design files to ensure pixel-perfect, accurate implementation.
  • Collaboration Skills: Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and marketing stakeholders to align outputs with client goals.
  • Leadership Qualities: A proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to enforce deadlines, manage processes, and elevate team performance.
