Job Opportunity: Business and Operations Professional

The role of a Business and Operations Associate plays a pivotal part in establishing and supporting the team responsible for delivering care services. In this capacity, your primary focus will be on recruiting and integrating new staff members, ensuring they possess the necessary tools to excel.

Key responsibilities include managing candidate communications, sending out job offers, coordinating onboarding events, and verifying that employee accounts and training are properly set up. This position is ideal for an individual who excels at organization, attention to detail, and streamlining processes.

You will collaborate closely with a cofounder, gaining insight into the inner workings of an early-stage startup, and over time, assume broader operational responsibilities as the company expands.

  • Candidate and New Hire Communications: Coordinate communications with candidates throughout the hiring process, including responding to inquiries, sending batch updates, and ensuring timely responses.
  • Offer Management & Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires: send offer letters and track signatures, coordinate start dates, provision accounts, schedule onboarding events, and ensure all onboarding tasks are completed.
  • Point of Contact for New Hires: Serve as the primary contact for new employees during the hiring and onboarding process, addressing questions and ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Process Improvement & Systems: Support the development and maintenance of systems and processes that streamline hiring and onboarding (e.g., applicant tracking, workflow enhancements).
  • Team Monitoring & Support: Assist in monitoring and analyzing team performance, flagging issues and helping management address challenges.
  • Operational Flexibility: Take on additional operational and administrative responsibilities as needed, with potential expansion into broader or more strategic roles as the company grows.
