We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Employee Benefits Administrator. As a key member of our human resources department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate administration and compliance of employee benefits.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of employee benefits, including Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. This will involve ensuring accurate enrollment, deductions, and remittances related to CPP and EI contributions.
You will also serve as a resource for employees regarding CPP and EI benefits, providing guidance and support on eligibility, coverage, and claims processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or related roles, with specific knowledge of Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Employment Insurance (EI) regulations and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant federal and provincial laws, regulations, and reporting requirements governing CPP and EI benefits.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately calculate deductions and reconcile contributions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to employees at all levels.
