Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and payment processing, recording journal entries and accruals, and managing credit card and employee expense reporting.

Additional responsibilities include assisting with the monthly and quarterly close process, financial consolidations, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform payment processing and accounts payable tasks
  • Review employee expense reports and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and amortizations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Import property data into Yardi and reconcile VS source TBs
  • Assist with regular International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) reporting adjustments in Yardi
  • Prepare billback calculations for properties and intercompany entities
  • Communicate with property accountants on expense billbacks and other needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounting support, with familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office software.

Additionally, the successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
