Job Description

The Senior Ledger Accountant will oversee various end-of-month processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of month-end processes and procedures.
  • Preparation and review of monthly reports for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Creation of journal entries and cash projections on a monthly basis.
  • Accounting process management for fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals.
  • Maintenance of the general ledger through accurate entry and analysis of financial transactions.
  • Reconciliation of designated balance sheet accounts and operating accounts.
  • Review of daily bank activities and preparation of journal entries for bank reconciliations.
  • Support for quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors.
  • Contribution to SOX controls and facilitation of control implementation for external and internal auditors.
  • Preparation of balance sheet and income statement fluxes on a monthly basis.
  • Assistance with technical accounting matters as required.
  • Performance of additional tasks as requested by management.
  • Interface with other departments to determine monthly accruals and other journal entries related to closing activities.
  • Identification of opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and quality continuously.
