Role Summary:

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Marketing Specialist.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing of assigned commercial accounts, submitting information provided by the marketing coordinator to targeted carriers via email or online input to the carrier system.
  • Obtaining quotes and following up with carriers if quotes are not received, drafting a preliminary proposal utilizing standardized templates for submission back to the marketing coordinator.
  • Assumes responsibility for obtaining renewal quotes for commercial accounts, receiving renewal applications and supporting documentation from the marketing coordinator via email and submitting the application and supporting documents to carriers identified by the marketing coordinator.
  • Coordinates with the underwriter to determine what, if any, additional requests for information they may have. Submits these requests to the marketing coordinator to obtain the information.
  • Updates AMS360 on the status of renewal proposal and saves communications in the correct policy year AMS files.
  • Utilizes AMS Suspense to manage workflows.
  • Prepare a draft proposal utilizing the appropriate template for submission to the marketing coordinator, highlighting significant changes in premium or coverages for marketing coordinator follow up.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with staff and with management.
  • Work to foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Keep management well informed of activities and of any significant problems.
  • Complete assigned documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Three to five years of experience in sales/account management.
  • AMS360 management system experience.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under strict time constraints.
  • Friendly & Energetic.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • A laptop will be provided by the company.
  • WFH after onsite training and NIGHT SHIFT WORK.
