As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. You will also be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing financial advice to management. Your expertise in accounting principles and practices will be essential in ensuring the financial health of our organization. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Prepare journal entries to ensure proper recording of transactions in the general ledger, including maintaining the supporting documentation for audit.Prepare various balance sheet account reconciliations including the monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable, deferred revenue, cash, accounts payable, inventory, intercompany and payroll.Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactionsEnsure financial statements are completed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner by adhering to closing deadlines and seeing opportunities to streamline current processes.Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes as needed.Provide financial advice to managementEnsure compliance with accounting principles and practicesPerform special projects and any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.SPECIFIC SKILLS: 5+ years of experience in accounting or related fieldStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software As a Senior Accountant, you will utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. Your expertise in accounting principles and practices will be essential in preparing financial statements and analyzing financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software will also be necessary in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. Additionally, your ability to provide financial advice to management will be crucial in ensuring the financial health of our organization.SOFT SKILLS:Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracyPositive attitude, teamwork and collaborationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCertifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeUS CPA certification (Preferred)Good to have: Experience with the US IT industry or US client supportExperience in a supervisory role
