Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with bookkeeping, client payments, and BAS compliance tasks.

Job Responsibilities
  • BAS compliance and review of GST coding.
  • Reviewing P&L and BS to ensure correct entries.
  • Preparation of reports, including bookkeeping and accounts payable.
  • Bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, and cash float reconciliation.
  • Debtor entries, aged payable review, and account summary report preparation.
  • Collation and review of supporting documents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Xero accounting software expertise.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Familiarity with ReceiptBank (OCR) and CCH iFirm – (Practice Management).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
