Business Development Associate Role Summary

The client seeks a skilled Business Development Associate to make outbound calls, schedule appointments with franchise consultants and explore business opportunities. This role involves documenting activities in CRM, following up with potential clients via email or phone, and working collaboratively with the sales and consulting teams.

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable using CRM software and dialer systems.

  • Make outbound calls to leads who have expressed interest in business and franchise ownership
  • Set up appointments with franchise consultants to explore suitable business options
  • Document all activities in CRM, including call logs and appointment details
  • Follow up with potential clients via email or make additional calls as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and consulting teams to ensure a smooth transition of leads
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales or business development experience
  • Previous experience in the franchise industry is a plus
  • Experience in appointment setting or lead qualification is a plus
  • Experience in using CRM software is a must
  • Understanding of basic franchise concepts and terminology is a plus
  • Strong telephone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable in using a dialer system for outbound calls
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
