Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable records, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and providing support to the finance, AP, AR, and accounting departments.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable balances. You will also maintain the billing system to ensure accurate and efficient invoicing and account statement generation.

Additional responsibilities include managing and organizing accounts receivable files and records for easy access and retrieval, producing monthly financial and management reports to provide insights into the AR performance, and investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries related to accounts receivable.

You will work closely with the revenue recognition process, ensuring adherence to relevant guidelines and regulations, and prepare month-end files and assist in closing processes.

Post sales journals for seller central accounts and support the finance, AP, AR, and accounting departments with additional ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management and financial analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
