About the Role

The Commercial Real Estate Growth Strategist will be responsible for leading and executing business development strategies to acquire new clients, secure property listings, and expand our commercial real estate portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

Business Strategy Development

Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance client satisfaction.

Lead Generation & Client Engagement

Engage in lead generation activities, including networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and meeting potential clients to build a strong pipeline of new business.

Negotiation & Deal Closure

Lead negotiations and finalize deals with property owners, developers, and other stakeholders, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Client Relationship Management

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, property owners, and partners to ensure repeat business and client retention.

Market Research & Analysis

Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive opportunities, and potential clients. Use insights to adjust strategies and stay ahead of the market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., brokerage, marketing, leasing) to align on strategies, ensure smooth execution of client engagements, and achieve growth targets.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and manage the business development team, setting clear targets, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Industry Networking

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote the brand and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in commercial real estate are a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and closing commercial real estate deals, managing high-value clients, and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience with the ability to guide and motivate a team towards achieving business goals.
  • In-depth understanding of the commercial real estate market, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet and exceed business development targets, using strategic thinking and data-driven insights.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
