Are you a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team on a remote basis.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and other accounting records. You will also identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Schedule and Work Arrangement

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 25 hours of work per week. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 11:00 pm to 8:00 am Manila time. The remote work arrangement allows you to work from home or any other location that suits your needs.
