Basic Function  : Support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Handles & maintain records of accounting matters (invoices, receivables, payables, purchase orders, statements, receipts & reports)
  • Process billing, collections, and disbursements in a timely manner
  • Post transactions and categorize records in cash disbursement (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)
  • Monitor project costs, expenses, and petty cash fund.
  • Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents and records.
  • Support in preparation of BIR forms, government remittances, and other compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams for billing and payment-related matters.
  • Prepare in payroll processing and employee reimbursements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reconcile accounts.
  • Coordinate with project teams to track expenses and budgets
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, tax filings, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Support audits and financial analysis as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of accounting experience (experience in the construction industry is a plus)
  • Knowledge in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cost monitoring.
  • Familiarity with BIR compliance, tax filings, and government remittances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs or any accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Good communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
