Accounting Staff – Summary of Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledgers (e.g., general ledger, supplier ledger).
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and collections.
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Maintain organized and updated financial records.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (1–3 years preferred).
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
