Job Title: Culinary Team Leader

The Mövenpick Hotel in The Hague seeks an experienced and skilled culinary professional to lead their kitchen team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where creativity, innovation, and teamwork are highly valued.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and motivating the kitchen team to achieve excellent food quality, presentation, and timeliness;
  • Developing and implementing new menu ideas and specials to enhance the dining experience;
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and housekeeping within the kitchen area;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction;
  • Monitoring and controlling food costs, stock levels, and inventory management;
  • Providing coaching, training, and feedback to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A recognized culinary qualification or equivalent experience;
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of HACCP regulations and food safety guidelines;
  • Ability to motivate and develop junior staff members;
