Job Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled Draftsman to provide expert technical support. This role involves collaborating with engineering partners, responding promptly to customer and permit inquiries, and maintaining organized documentation.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow professionally, while working remotely.

  • Develop lot-specific drawings, revise existing plan documents, and manage computer access
  • Provide timely support to builders on-site, expedite permitting by liaising with city/county staff, and field questions
  • Produce address-specific plans within set deadlines, update the plan library, create new plan designs, and execute SPR drafting tasks

Qualifications include:

  • An associate's degree in a related field; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of drafting experience or equivalent
  • Residential construction or home remodeling drafting experience required
  • Familiarity with building codes and permitting standards in WA and OR preferred
  • Ability to conduct internet research and local GIS familiarity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport
  • Professional demeanor and collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
