Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

A critical role in resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively is held by a Technical Support Specialist. Their responsibilities include researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting problems using various systems, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing second-level technical support to customers and assisting with technical queries and training for customer-facing teams
  • Managing phone and email support as well as ticket and SLA management
  • Maintenance tasks and routine system checks, ensuring smooth operation of all systems
  • Escalation management to level 3 technical support and/or management

Technical Requirements:

  • System configuration and understanding of software code and data structures, including JSON
  • Desktop and VoIP support, including analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software products
  • Manage and administer desktop tools, such as Office 365 and Dropbox

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interaction with customers and colleagues
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and equipment support to resolve complex issues
  • Application/System Maintenance activities to prevent system downtime
  • Bonus: Knowledgeable in SSL/TLS and REST APIs to enhance system security and efficiency
  • Bonus: Experience with MySQL, SQL syntax, VoIP systems, and network support to expand skillset
  • Bonus: Familiarity with NodeJS, Python, and related technologies and frameworks to improve overall technical expertise

Work Environment:
