
Technical Support Specialist

A critical role in resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively is held by a Technical Support Specialist. Their responsibilities include researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting problems using various systems, software, and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing second-level technical support to customers and assisting with technical queries and training for customer-facing teams
- Managing phone and email support as well as ticket and SLA management
- Maintenance tasks and routine system checks, ensuring smooth operation of all systems
- Escalation management to level 3 technical support and/or management
Technical Requirements:
- System configuration and understanding of software code and data structures, including JSON
- Desktop and VoIP support, including analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot hardware and software products
- Manage and administer desktop tools, such as Office 365 and Dropbox
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interaction with customers and colleagues
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and equipment support to resolve complex issues
- Application/System Maintenance activities to prevent system downtime
- Bonus: Knowledgeable in SSL/TLS and REST APIs to enhance system security and efficiency
- Bonus: Experience with MySQL, SQL syntax, VoIP systems, and network support to expand skillset
- Bonus: Familiarity with NodeJS, Python, and related technologies and frameworks to improve overall technical expertise
Work Environment:
- Full-time remote work from home, promoting flexibility and work-life balance
- Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm schedule, allowing for predictable workflow
- Good internet speed (minimum 10 Mbps) required to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
