We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Account Management Specialist to manage aged debt reports, clear receipts, and ensure timely payments from clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments, analyzing data to optimize cash flow management.
- Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments, maintaining accurate records of transactions.
- Establish effective communication with clients via phone and email regarding outstanding invoices, negotiating payment commitments and follow-ups.
- Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly, ensuring alignment with financial policies.
- Configure new client profiles in the system, maintaining accurate records and liaison with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and report collection progress to senior management, providing insights for informed decision-making.
- Previous experience in account management or credit control, with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to handle phone and email conversations effectively, building trust with clients.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to maintain accurate records and meet financial targets.
