Job Overview

The company specializes in unique, high-quality rugs, including antique and designer pieces. We cater to interior designers, collectors, and home décor enthusiasts worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, eBay, Etsy, 1stDibs, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, AptDeco, and others.
  • Adapt product descriptions to meet marketplace restrictions using strategic wording to list items correctly.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory across all sales channels.
  • Research and recommend cross-posting automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Brainstorm and execute strategies to target niche buyers such as home decorators and auction platforms.
  • Prepare and format auction submissions for LiveAuctioneers, including organizing product details, numbering and naming photos, and pulling and preparing images from Dropbox for upload.
  • Coordinate with the business owner for approvals and updates.
  • Monitor listing performance and provide regular reports.
  • Edit and enhance product images using Photoshop or similar tools.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in e-commerce listings or online marketplace management.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor descriptions for different platforms.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, 1stDibs, Facebook Marketplace, and AptDeco.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices.
  • Basic image editing skills (Photoshop or Canva preferred).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Experience creating auction listings.
  • Proficiency with platforms like LiveAuctioneers is required.
