Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in audit? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as an Audit Senior Associate.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that involves performing audits of client financial statements under the supervision of a manager or senior personnel. You will be responsible for completing audit workpapers, documenting audit tests and findings, and researching and developing knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.

You will also collect, assimilate, and analyze client data, and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work. Additionally, you will assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate these issues.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audits of client financial statements under supervision of manager/senior personnel on team
  • Complete audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
  • Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work
  • Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience | Audit
  • ERISA, Employee Benefit Plans Experience Required
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA) and industry specific rules
  • Experience with a paperless auditing application preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Strong research, organizational, computer and analytical skills needed
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
